Clint Loveness - Director, Cinematographer, Editor, & Producer.

 
My name is Clint Loveness and I am a creative Director, Cinematographer, Editor and Producer.   

I work fulltime as a video producer at Bluefish TV making testimonies for Church's all over the world, Bluefish TV has worked with people like Francis Chan and Max Lucado. Loveness Films is my personal video bussiness making freelance projects. I have experience working at an ABC affiliate TV station making commercials and I have won six awards from my short films including a documentary filmed in China.  I worked for MLD a high end video rental house, where I was trained on all of the camera equipment Including the Red camera and the grip trucks.  Nine years ago I started a production company called Loveness Films.  I own about $25,000 worth of production equipment including 2 high definition video cameras, steady cam, 12 ft. crane, slider dolly, and a Mac Pro edit bay with Final Cut X and Final Cut 7 and Adobe Premiere CS4, Affer Effects, and Photoshop.  I also have an office and access to a studio with a green screen. From my filmmaking experience I have a network of people that I can recruit for actors, writers, and crew.  I have access to a public cable station that can potentially reach 10 million people. I have shot footage for the following channels, E! Entertainment News, ESPN, Discovery Channel, Golf Channel, an ABC Affiliate News Channel. I have also shot commercials, documentaries, short films, weddings, and the NBA ALL Star Game.  Take some time to review my work and my resume. Clint Loveness is an artist by nature and  uses his talents to praise the Lord through the eyes of cinema. Passion is defined as “any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling”; Clint acknowledges that the inspiration for his short films stems directly from his relationship to God.  It is Clint’s conviction that God changes lives and there are wonderful stories to be told.  Clint loves to chronicle the adventures of God in action.

 
Clint was born in Redding, California and discovered story telling by the 4^th grade. He began with animation and moved on to live-action films by the time he was fourteen.  One of his earliest productions garnered the honor of being shown at the California State fair.  Clint has seven years of working at a news station both as a  cameraman and then a producer.  He has now started his own business, “Loveness Films” that creates TV commercials, movies, documentaries, and  wedding celebrations.  One of Clint’s productions, “ The Shadow Case” was seen by Jeff Bridges and given a favorable review.   

Clint graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Telecommunications with Art as a minor.  He has seen success with his short movie, “Superman” and won the video contest sponsored by his alma mater, Pepperdine.  Clint was offered employment by the Dean of Admissions following a review of his  award winning film, “Step Forward Day”.  He has produced films for the Malibu Film Festival, and many church film projects.   Clint created a cast, crew and film for the 168 Project,  This organization provides an opportunity to compete with other Christian film makers.  The basis for the film comes from a supplied Biblical text.  All pieces of production, from start to finish, must be completed in one week’s time.

One of Clint's favorite professors, Tom Shadyac, director of "Evan Almighty", said that the most important thing about a movie is the story, and every good story is based on a universal truth. The Bible is filled with universal truths. Jesus was a master storyteller, and he used parables to help people understand the Good News.

Research has shown that people retain 10% of what they read, 20% of what they hear, 30% of what they see, and 70% of what they see and hear together. Cinematography brings this concept up close and real.  Movies have the power to influence people's lives, enhance a presentation and engage the audience in the message.

Clint Loveness has always enjoyed telling stories through his art and photography and he loves to entertain his audience. His desire is to be a filmmaker for God.  Clint believes that God has given him many talents,  and he wants to use those talents to make a difference.
